Product Description
This statement table features a soft serpentine outline and moulded edge, displaying a rich, warm patina consistent with age. The frieze is supported on twin baluster pedestal supports, each richly carved with acanthus and foliate detail terminating in bold scrolling acanthus-carved legs with stylised paw feet.
The quality of carving and weight of the timber suggest a late 19th to early 20th century interpretation of earlier Regency / William IV furniture, designed as a centre or library table rather than a wall piece.
Condition:
Structurally sound with visible surface wear and historic marks to the top surface, consistent with age and use. The patina remains attractive and authentic, lending character without detracting from its appeal.
Dimensions: Height:71 cm Width:122 cm Depth:60 cm
