A beautifully crafted Victorian-era small occasional table dating from the late 19th century (circa 1880s–1890s). The tabletop has a rich bookmatched burr-walnut veneer, which was popular in high-end Victorian furniture. The central turned pedestal base has a birdcage configuration and branches into four ornately carved legs, ending in scrolled feet.
